Had a crash the other week in which the pedal took the brunt of the collision. Now when pedalling while standing, there seems to be movement everytime pressure is applied, definitely not from where it attaches to the crank.

Whats the most obvious cause for this? And how much will it cost me 🙁 😀

    Thanks!

movement where? you mean the pedal is slightly wobbly? up-down? side-to-side?

if it feels weird when you pedal, but isn't any more rattly than the other pedal, i'd guess that it might be a bent axle…?

buy and fit a new axle, or just buy some V8's / V8 copies, they're really rather good – the loose ball bearings are nothing to be scared of.

if anything, the grease port on a DMR V8 should allow you to keep your pedals running sweeter longer than a pair of V12's.

Take it apart and have a look, not difficult although a vice comes in handy.
