Is trailstar “L” the correct frame size for me? I have a 140 mm travel fox fork available, like to use a short stem and 2.4 tyres. My current mountain bike frames have a size of 19,5″ … 20″.

(Normally like the reviews from Guy – possible that he had a bad day when biking the trailstar? I go a lot uphill – means my bikes need to climb quite good. Any inputs from owners?)

£320 is a great price. I’d snap it up!

Love mine, absolute beast on the downs, and climbs surprisingly well. I’ve used it for uplift days (13 runs at BPW last week) and long XC rides alike.

I’m 6ft bang on and have the XL frame. Means I can only run a 125mm dropper, but I like the extra reach on the XL frame, and the low top tube means you still have loads of standover height.

I also prefer the aesthetics of the XL frame with the solid brace joining the TT and ST.

*Edit* just read that MBUK review, and I don’t recognise the TT twisting they talk about. I’d agree with them that it’s better with a 140mm fork. I ran it with a 160mm fork originally, and then reduced it to 140, which felt much better.
