    I know I can buy them pre done but prefer the DIY route. Have got a VPN sorted but there are many ways to do the next steps.

    Which YouTube video or webpage is good to follow and successful?

    It’s very straight forward. All you have to do is change a couple of settings about 3rd party content and stuff. Then install ES File explorer or similar.

    A friend did one for me. It would get seriously hot, not sure if it was due to the jailbreak or not, before it gave up after 3 months. The replacement that hasn’t been cracked has lasted 2 years.

    Coincidence.

    I have 2 Firesticks, both have had 3rd party apps added. 1 is the 1st generation model and is about 5 years old. Both still working fine.
