    Okay, I googled it. Ouch. How did you do it? Are you a middle aged man and only 3% of bicep ruptures are distal ones so you have a rare one! not that I would want to trade it with you.

    Stopped me riding for about 8 months after surgery. 2+ years later the arm is 50% weaker than the other. Being alpha though helps as I’m still stronger than the majority!

    49 year old man with a history of lifting heavy things ,furniture ,my daughter fell and I shot my arm out to catch her ,tearing sound, pain . had the op now just waiting to get out of plaster 4 weeks to go and counting

    at least you get domestic kudos for injuring yourself saving a small child.

    I broke a rib leaning over the arm of a chair to pick up the tv remote. All I got was derisive laughter…
