    I’d suggest that it’s pretty poor form just to do it without entering. If too many people try that then it screws up the logistics.

    Yeah I’m a bit gutted – had put lots of effort into getting fit enough to do the 200k and was really looking forward to it – but it’s the right thing to do and saves us having to make our own judgment calls.
