I’ve got a regular hour to kill in Cononley in the Aire Valley every Wednesday evening – are there any quick loops or out and backs which I might be able to dash around now it’s getting lighter? Cheeky suggestions also received gratefully.

Martin – get up to Kildwick moorside or over to Crosshills and up to Glusburn and the pepperpot /saltpot nice routes good hills up and over and then down -job done ?

I looked at Kildwick, the main problem is the level crossing at Cononley, which is closed pretty much 10-15 minutes each half hour, which can eat into my hour or make me late back, which isn’t an option.

Pepperpot/Saltpot? Whereabouts?
