    How much difference is there between a Fox Vanilla 180mm and a Vanilla 160mm?

    If you already have a 180mm fork and you really want a 160mm one, could you just drop the 160 spring in there and Bob’s your Uncle?

    Specialized Enduro Evo uses a 180 chassis at 170mm – think it is a coil and not the float.

    Think the Float version can be lowered easier. Don’t know how well any of them perform.

    The lowers are different they have extensions below the axle and stronger, the crown is a bit thicker

    Heard back from Mojo on this if anyone’s interested – can be done easily enough with the shorter spring and a spacer on the negative spring.

    There’s a bit more to it than that, but yes it can be done.
