    The film is on Gold at the moment and I’ve just spotted a mistake, they were marching an a road that had cats eyes on it.  Eeerrrrrrr!

    If it’s the new film the whole thing is  mistake.

    Forgot to add Cat’s Eyes were first used pre-war.

    It’s worth noting that not all roads were sealed at that time. My mum , if she’d been in detention and missed the school bus, would have to walk the 12 miles home along what is now the A590 which was gravel in the mid 1930s.

    My mum used to work in a Patent office during the 30’s and 40’s and she remembered typing up the patent for Cats Eyes.
