I’m looking to buy my lady a new bike for Xmas and she wants a cyclocross bike…

I wish to buy online ideally, and was looking at the Boardman Team CX but I can’t actually purchase one because I live overseas and Halfords won’t accept non UK cards or paypal accounts…
Wiggle have the same bikes of course but they won’t deliiver to the UK.

Any one got any suggestions over good alternative bikes or sources for around a grand??

Focus are always good for value (wiggle)
Do Canyon bikes offer anything in the CX flavour?
    Rose bikes?
Planet X do a few different options
Chain reaction had some good sales on.

The £1000 price point is really packed because of Cycle to Work. There must be hundreds of options out there.

flat-bar version of the dirty disco for £999!

Had a look at those bordman cx’s, nice f+f but the finishing kit was poor to say the least.

    Thanks for the ideas…
Focus can only be collected in person I have read as they are ‘protecting’ the brand

I’ve since found the 2011 Crux for 800 from Certini…
    Looks good.
