  • Cycling in the cold increasing sense of hunger..?

Has anybody found they feel especially hungry after cycling in the cold? I went from the edge of Sheffield up to Stanage Pole at 3pm after porridge and bread and cheese and malt loaf being eating during the day, and could eat a horse when I got back, quite unusually so it seemed.

It was a nice day to be out…

Mix in a coffee or 2 with a cold ride and you become very familiar with all the best field entrances 😉

Of course it does make your body needs to maintain a steady 39 degrees.

You’re riding around generating heat that is being constantly absorbed by the cold air around you so you have to keep generating heat.

That takes energy. How do we get that energy?.. more food.

    39?

That’s a red indicator for sepsis.
