    We went for a nice long ride today, I’d say 60% off-road and 40% on-road. I think 2.1 tyres were a bit OTT for this – discs, flat handlebars and suspension were nice though. Thinking of trying some 700x40ish tyres on the bike and wonder if anyone has recommendations for this sort of mixed ride.

    Schwalbe do a Racing Ralph in 700×35. Brilliant on and off road.
