whats the verdict on the balance between weight, performance, pimp factor with Shimano’s 12 speed set ups?

I’ve always gone XTR shifter, XT Mech/Cassette, XT pr XTR brakes depending on if I’m feeling flush.
Current bikes run 11speed shimano xtr shifter, xt mech, xt cassette on the winter bike with garbaruk 11spd on the posher bikes and older upcycled xtr trail brakes on the lightest bike

mainly struggling to justify the xtr cassette as xt is still rather porky.

Shimano SLX, with XT cassette & shifter when I make the leap.

I’ve got full XTR as it was all that was available when I switched.
I will stick with XTR for cassette, for weight reasons. If the shifter broke I’d replace it with another XTR, unless XT still had the multi release on both triggers?
If I smashed my rear mech off the bike I’d replace it with XT.
