    Experiences please!

thinking of making a build with a set.

I am 15 stone with all clobber on – XC Peaks stuff and trail centres mainly in terms of riding. Prefer to keep my wheels on the ground and so not jumping off everything.

Run Chris Kings on XM819s at the mo but would like to shed a pound or so on rolling weight.

    Cheers

They're expensive, the hub is a very old design, the bush in the freehub wears easily, requiring replacement of the freehub body. They're not very light, they are quite stiff, they're not very tough, and spares are eye-wateringly expensive and reasonably hard to come by.

    I wouldn't have a set myself.

DT240s on ZTR Crests/Flows would be cheaper, lighter, easier to get spares for etc etc.

Stupidly expensive and nowhere near as good as stuff half the price.

Your choice of Stans on Hope would be much better, lighter and cheaper.
