I rode in/around/across Iceland last year, and finally got around to writing about the ‘across bit, which was possibly the best and definitely the worst bit of the trip. It’s up here in two parts…

It’s an amazing looking place. My sister and her husband landed there yesterday; they’re walking from the northernmost point to the southernmost point over three weeks.

There’s some parts of Iceland that you don’t want to cross.

What a place. Route didn’t quite go to plan but you soon learn to go with the weather. Already planning on how to get back there.

Met the Icebikes team in the mountains and fancy one of their heli-biking tours next time….
