I need to create a wiki/knowledgebase at work, I don’t want to spend a lot of time on the design, learning html, or technical aspects, we just need to share some knowledge and document configurations on a nice easy platform.

I do have a few requirements, it should be hosted on IIS, authenticate against active directory and if data is in a database then that should also be Microsoft (I would prefer flat files to a database). I would have thought those requirements would be easy to achieve, but it seems that everyone creating wiki “packages” are linux/apache disciples, and although some port to microsoft, they don’t do very well.

What I could do with is a modern equivalent to microsoft frontpage, any ideas?

    Sharepoint is the obvious answer.
