Congratulation OP for getting a frame dispatched well within the delivery timeline yet still ranting about it.

I on the other hand ordered a full bike on 05/04 in the hope of receiving it before Easter but it hasn’t arrived yet even though it said ‘Lead time: Available for Dispatch in 7 days’.

Finally found out what was happening today, via a polite phone call to the customer services department of the company I’m buying from (not CRC/Wiggle).

Turns out it’s still in the middle of the Atlantic on it’s way to the docks and I can expect delivery w/c 06/05.

Fair enough, I can wait – have another bike I can ride in the meantime.

Don’t see the point in ranting and going off on one before the predicted delivery date though.

Yep something brake mount related.
I’ve just fitted some old brakes to a new frame and was convinced I had everything to fit, nope! Needed a longer bolt for the front adaptor. Luckily there’s plenty here at work so I didn’t need to trouble STW for the personal email address of the CEO of SRAM 😉
