    Does anyone do a helicoil for the non drive side crank pedalthread? Am I right in thinking it’s a 7/16th UNF left hand thread?
    Yes I am a numpty who forgot to check pedals where tight enough!

    How bad is the thread? If your lucks in you might get away with running a tap through it. Other than that it would probably be cheaper to pick up a used crank off e-bay.

    I think it’s 9/16th, not 7/16th.Try your LBS(buying one wouldn’t be economically viable),but wouldn’t fancy riding with the consequences of it not being fitted straight.

    Cranks not coming off the taper anyhow so I suppose it’s time for a new crankset!
