    Last heard one up at Fort William at the SSDT, 1st week in May. Heard one every day for 6 days, no matter where we went we heard one. (or it was the same one following us around)

    Torridon a few weeks back was heaving with them. Never thought of them as a mountain dweller. They look like a small raptor in flight and sound like a baby Ocelot being squeeezed

    There’s a bird’s nest in the bush outside Lil Grips’s nursery gate. It contains one chick the size of a thrush, and looking similar, and is being tended to by a sparrow smaller than the chick. My wife thought it was a case of illegal immigrants, I think she’s right.

    Last Saturday 8th June, while riding over Cut Gate in the Peak District.
    We got woken up by one 2 weeks ago in Cartmel Cumbria, t’was very loud.
