i’ve been running my FF29 with a Nnic on the front a nd a Xking on the back, been liking the Xking alot. But the nnic is a little to meaty for the trails at the mo, so i thought i’d try a Xking on the front.
ebay- ordered -arrived this morning opened the package and they have sent me a race king.
So i don’t know whether to go with plan A 2 Xkings or plan B and they the race king on the back.
Anyone tried these combo’s ? thoughts please.

I’ve not done it (yet, have an X king waiting for a race king to wear out!) but it was recommended to me. 29×2.0 boggo race kings have been great on my Fargo recently.

I run a race king on the rear (26″) and it’s fast and grippy as hell. Much better than the racing Ralph. I’ve yet to find a front tyre that goes well with it though, best fit seems to be a supersonic mountain king, which is a bit too knobbly but rolls nicely.

I run race kings front and rear on my 29er in the summer and all good – the cheap ones as well.
