- Comet Ison
My eldest son saw it from the car on Tuesday just after sunset, he knows all about it and he’s only 6! He has literally been bouncing off the walls since- he’s never seen anything like it before.
So let’s hope it makes it round the sun today, so far so good it seems.
Anyone else excited?Posted 4 years agoKonastonerMember
Great links Kit!
What is somewhat worrying is that its 3 miles across and if it had arrived 3 months later it would have smashed head on into the Earth! 😯Posted 4 years agorossi46Member
Oh well, it would have been spectacular. Lets give it another couple of hours to make sure though!Posted 4 years ago
It seems my son did see Venus- but I’m not going to tell him. Blissful ignorance.
He thinks he saw a comet and I can’t p*** on his parade, it’s got him all excited about astronomy and that is awesome!
