Just spent a lovely week in Majorca with grand plans to do some training for a tri at the end of the month but fate wasn't keen.

A nasty cold turned into sinusitis making swimming tricky.
On the second day I trod on a sea urchin – no running.
Finally got two runs in and a bit of swimming then spotted a diving mask on the sea bed, nine metres down. Dived down to get it for my little boy and almost imploded my entire head. Got the mask but my ears were in agony and I felt sick. Swimming again tricky.

Partly made up for it with two days of perfect surf – sort of swim training!

Doh!
