I’d say Steel Panther are a parody band, rather than a comedy one. It’s a fine line though, Spinal Tap put it all into perspective…

I like The Duckworth Lewis Methid – although they are more humorous than outright comedy.

There’s never been another Bonzo Dog Doo Dah Band.

Not set up as a “comedy” band, but Ugly Duckling have some superb humour in their stuff.

GLC are fantastic, we saw them at T in the Park on the same day as Wu Tang and they weren’t just funny, they put on a better show.

I saw the grumbleweeds at the height of their fame. I subsequently decided that comedy and music should not mix.
With the obvious exception of Dread Zeppelin.

Glad i am not the only one that likes comedy bands/artists. Some parodies are better than the originals too 😀
