    Red Pro II Hubs:

    Blue Cotic Solaris:

To my eyes it does but then I have red Pro II hubs and would like a blue Solaris frame 😆 🙄

    Thoughts and view please 🙂

    I’d say probably.

Maybe get the matching red Hope headset, BB and seat clamp?

Thoughts? Well, I think I might have a beer at the pub on the way home, then perhaps a curry.
Views? A rather lovely watery, wintry sun slowly stooping towards the horizon as the Thames wafts past in a leisurely meander.

Oh, the hubs? Erm, yeah, that works. Might be good with a couple of other red details, mind you. Seat collar, stem spacers etc.

CFH – Excellent call on curry mmmmmm Chicken shashlick

I am sure I could dig out a few other red accents 😉

    Tikka Karahi FTW!

I reckon red end caps on the bars, red seat collar and perhaps a red stem. No need to overdo it.

    Nice looking frame that.

Oh, and a plain paratha, thanks.

I think it would look good, a few other red ano bits, so they don’t out of place and it’ll be fine. Only red anodised, no red brake cables or owt.

Stem would be too much. Hubs, seat collar, headset.

My two pence? Yes, do it!

Powder blue and red goes very well indeed IMHO.

Red and blue definitely go well together:

I think a red stem might be overkill…

…but red hubs, headset, seatclamp and bar ends would be just about right.

That Nicolai is exactly what I’m talking about!

Meh, if you say so. I like colourmatching.
Yes, I think the colours should work pretty well; I’m wondering whether red floating rotor bits would be overkill. Stem probably would be, but headset, seatclamp and grip clamps would work well!

Good call on the curry; I’m back in the big smoke for the first time in a while, and looking forward to getting round a chicken jalfrezi… Thai tomorrow!

    That Nicolai looks startled.

Just because you aren’t familiar with the English language, doesn’t mean you should report him.

    queer? -er, -est, verb, noun
    adjective

    1.
strange or odd from a conventional viewpoint; unusually different; singular: a queer notion of justice.
    2.
of a questionable nature or character; suspicious; shady: Something queer about the language of the prospectus kept investors away.
    3.
not feeling physically right or well; giddy, faint, or qualmish: to feel queer.
    4.
    mentally unbalanced or deranged.

Flow nice try but you wrote it as plural, so it could only mean one thing.

Yes isn’t it nice to know who the grasses are skywalker/flow?

I didn’t write it in the first place!

FFS why doesn’t everyone just blame me for everything!

I reported you too Flow, for your reference – though I hope both your logins are banned.

I don’t understand why you’d create two logins and behave like an unpleasant little shit on both of them though?

Yes that’s exactly right Flow, I’m not at all familiar with the English language or the offensive, abusive and homophobic contexts in which that term is used.

It’s your fault you’re being blamed flow.

The deleted post was very clear as to how it was intended to be taken and it wasn’t implying that the op was feeling ill

There is only one colour for components besides the frame and fork.

Anything else just looks awful. Like a child’s impression of a bike.

Erm . . . I think you should concentrate on the black and white of the Cotic decal – plenty of scope there. The Solaris in the pic looks ace.

Go for a sprinkle of red, not a shovel of it. I prefer the accent approach to the 50:50.

Bung in a red clamp, skewers and maybe bar but I’d call it there. A little polished kit mediates well between the different colours.

Definitely not red tyres, they go that rank orange colour.
