    Tragic though the events are in the US, It’s a shame we (and and be ‘we’ I’m including myself) lose perspective on the scale of things.

    Awful, as are ill-informed comments.

    Especially as Boulder, Colorado, had a referendum to convert to green energy. They’re currently struggling as the local power company tries to overturn the vote.

    Anyone fancy supporting them?

    Some of the posts in this thread has sent my faith in humanity (or maybe just STW?) to an all time low…

    I have a generally cynical view of humanity, so I’m seldom disappointed by the actions of people, and there’s several here who’ve just reinforced my cynicism.
    However, I’m always surprised, and delighted, when people go out of their way to help others, and again, there have been many occasions on here when I’ve been humbled by the way people have gone out of their way to help others.
    Long may that continue.
