Anyone know of anyone that makes these or where to source couplings to do a DIY job?

Only found these guys so far:

But pretty pricey and requires importing from the US.

Nice idea. Always a ball ache dragging tools to remote trails. Can’t help thinking it won’t work quite as well as intended though. Digging tools are heavy and solid for a reason.

Our club out here in the US has had to have most of it’s tools repaired after a year of use. Even ‘proper’ tools are hard-pushed to take the beating. I don’t know of anyone who has had any satisfaction with tools less than the proper thing.

Our ranger has a trail boss, it’s an impressive bit of kit… Not sure how much use it actually gets though, after all he’s got a pickup and the keys to the gates so he doesn’t need a folding tool 😆

I just use a titan fishing rod sling to carry up to 3 tools (mattock, spade, digging hoe) on my back. It does the job

I stash my tools out in the woodland near my trails, they need protecting with plastic as any timber will rot when left out for several seasons, this is my favourite and was recently refurbished with new handle and good coat of hammerite after angle grinding the rust off the blade.

I did a similar topic a few weeks back and didn’t come up with much that I fancied using in earnest.

Bought a spade for a fiver from Wilkos and have stashed it in the woods buried in a bin bag.
