Coffee with butter. You are at least 50 years behind even my grandma use to drink coffee with a bit of butter …

That’s nothing new in that as I was already drinking that in the early 70s.

I used to take a litre (yes, a litre of Robusta coffee) to school as a 5 year old. One day the teacher found out I was drinking coffee she threw my entire coffee tin out the window … I did not know what I did wrong and thought she was a nutter. My exam result … top 10 in the class.

Used to drink yak butter coffee and tea in Nepal, quite an acquired taste to begin with and it does leave you with a sort of slimy mouth but it killed hunger pangs for hours, apparently it’s quite a fashionable fitness/supplement drink now….pah!-we were doing it 10years ago with real curdled smelly yak butter

For cooking with processed cheese as in Bhutan’s style it is actually good as I learned from my friend. Very easy to cook too.

Never tried coconut in coffee … 😯

In India coconut oil is used for all sort from hair, sink moisturiser to ointment and medication.

Proper home made coconut oil is very aromatic and taste good …

I’d be impressed if you can get milk out of a yak in Nepal or Tibet… Yak is the male, the females are actually called Nak or sometimes dri.

I’ve had Nak milk tea, and porridge in Nepal twice. The first time was horrible, but not one to give up I tried it again… I was very sick (both ends) for 3 days (far from ideal when treking long distances at altitude!)
