Fire did cross my mind. Containment is not something I’m experienced in, so burning down the whole place on day 2 would have been likely result, considering current temperatures!

Have you got any before and after photos? 40 years of wild vegetation… It must have been a woodland!?

40 years of wild vegetation. I see you’ve been clubbing in Dumfries.

Ok, this is a tiny bit odd, but that appears to be the same strimmer that I used! Aside from nylon cord, which I changed around twenty times..

My back is broken; it was frickin’ agony after just a few min minutes of use. I was out there for 12 hours in total.

However, I have just spent 90 mins in bath with some wine and feel a lot better, cleaner, but a tad tipsy, so I must retire now, eagerly anticipating the aches that will no doubt accompany me about tomorrow.

Just glad to have not strimmed glass or a stone into my face!
