- Clear out: Trek Remedy, Marzocchi, Schwalbe, Crank Bros, Renthal, stems, helmet
Trek Remedy 2010, ‘virtual’ size 18.5. (I’m six foot and found it maybe a *touch* short with a 65mm stem.) VGC. Couple of scuffs on the frame (paint touched up on chainstay and the ‘mucky’ looking ones are into frame protection tape and have attracted dirt) but no dings or dents that I can find. Really nice bike – only selling as I’m skint. 150mm travel, bearings recently replaced, shock feels good. Offset bushings in one end of the shock to slacken/lower it slightly (I’ve got the originals). Tapered headset feels smooth (you can get an adaptor from Hope to fit standard forks for less than a tenner.) Think it’s a Hope headset but not 100%. £500 posted with seatclamp, spare mech hanger and two-ride-old front X-7 mech (£15 if you want the mech separately, but I can’t find the spacers to shim it down).
Schwalbe Hans Dampf 2.35, Snakeskin Sidewalls, Pacestar compound Three short rides old, so basically as new. £22.50 posted.
Schwalbe Nobby Nic 2.25 tyre. Tread in VGC, but there are a few small nicks in the tyre that mean it won’t inflate tubeless. £10 posted.
Crank Bros 2012 Mallet 2. Orange. These are the newer model. Fairly battered cosmetically as I used them for a week in the Alps, but otherwise they’ve only got about 20 days riding on them. £20 posted.
Crank Bros Candy 1. Black. Again, these are the newer model Candys (2012, I think) Good condition, pretty battered cosmetically. £15 posted.
Crank Bros Cleats. Fitted to shoes and clipped in to pedals, but never ridden. £7.50 posted. (No pictures of these, sorry.) You can have them for a fiver with either of the pedals above.
Marzocchi 66 forks *I think 120-150mm travel*, travel adjust etc – came second hand with a bike I bought. I’ve not ridden these, or taken them apart but they feel fine in a ‘bounce’ test. The stanchions have a couple of TINY nicks in them and the lowers are VERY tatty, but otherwise these seem in good condition, adjusters etc all work, stanchions otherwise fine. 20mm Bolt through axle (pinch bolts) – these are some seriously beefy forks! £50 posted
Specialized Tactic Helmet, size M, black – about ten rides old, not crashed. Couple of small scuffs and dents from general transport but nothing I’d personally worry about. Selling as I just don’t find it comfy. £25 posted.
Lizard Skins Chainstay Protector Slightly tatty but not too bad. Came off a Cannondale Prophet, but I assume it’ll fit a Five too. £3 posted.
Truvativ AKA 80mm stem (1 1/8″, oversized bars) Good nick, about three months old. £15 posted.
FSA OS 150 150 100mm stem (1 1/8″, oversized bars) VGC, one road ride old. £12.50 posted.
Renthal Kevlar Push-on grips The actual grips are only a few rides old, although the end caps have been on for longer and are scuffed (I didn’t get round to glueing the grips on, the span, I took them off but left the ends on and I never got back to re-fitting them.) Not got any pictures of these I’m afraid. £7.50 posted.
Might have X-Fusion Hilos in 27.2 and 31.6mm for sale but not sure yet. Both are pretty new and in good condition. Get in touch with an offer if you’re interested and I’ll have a think.
Pictures of most stuff here (hopefully)
Everything’s in Sheffield if you want a look. I’ll obviously knock a bit off if you can pick them up (which I’d prefer on the frame and forks anyway.)
