  • Christmas present NBD!! Tyre pressure?

Mrs ColP has only gone and splashed out on a new ride for my Christmas present!

Not sure what tyre pressure to run, what’s the STW thinking?

    Is it tubeless ready?

Is that something you wanted or is it the equivalent of giving a female loved one a hoover for Christmas?

You can buy aftermarket solid wheels for them. If you have hawthorn hedges or a lot of spikey bushes it’s a worthwhile upgrade.

If you’re sticking with the tube, about 20psi.

    Does it have a squeak?

Yep. Not sure Mrs Fazzini appreciated the Karcher window vac… 😳

    Only kidding.

    She loved it.

    Well, it’s something I needed I suppose.
My old one is held together by a thin layer of mortar.

    First upgrade, I’m thinking grips.

Did she not wrap it up? (want to see pictures of it wrapped!!)

I bought my wife a fridge a few years back. Her face still lights up every time she opens it.

The grip upgrade may be difficult, they’re not the same diameter as bike handlebars.

I did squirt some Stans fluid into the tube on mine, not had a puncture yet.

I don’t think there’s a massive choice of tyres available, but that’s not going to stop a “what tyres for” thread.

I have the same one , slightly narrower so good for gates and doorways.
Mines got stabs jizz in at about 20psi. Gorilla glue is holding the grips on .

I’d go for 25psi to make sure there was very little tyre deflection once loaded…

who in the world doesn’t open the triangular prism present first ?

That’s obviously chocs. You know, to stop the wheel rolling on a slope

Is it LLS geometry? It really helps tame the garden.

Got one of those in the work fleet.

They are either up or flat, bit Russian roulette putting something that small on the big compressor at work.

I got a wheelbarrow too, from Mrs DPFR, but mine has a solid tyre, a bit like the Tannus material. Green barrow with a fetching yellow tyre- what more could I want?
