    I always buy lighter coloured helmets.  Firstly, they don’t soak up heat as badly if you’re lucky enough for it to be a sunny day, and secondly I don’t understand why someone riding a mountain bike who may need to be spotted by the Mountain Rescue at some point wants to camouflage themselves.  Bright colours are good.

    So my 2018 Montaro in Vermillion arrived today. The pics online do not really do the colour justice. Its certainly bright and very orange lol!

    The orange would have been much nicer had they not put purple buckles all over it.

    Just a quick update – the helmet has been through a number of long and very warm rides and the padding is still holding strong!
