I am so proud of her.
As a non Alpine country we struggle to get any funding for our winter sports athletes and she came 12th in the women's olympic downhill, today, on one of the hardest courses in the world.
Considering most British people only start skiing as a recreational pastime once or a couple of times a year, its hard to get youngsters into the sport.

She's on again tomorrow racing in the combined, Go Chemmy GO.

Well done Chemmy – 11th in the combined tonight.

She's got the super 'g' soon, which is her favourite discipline.
