Sometimes being self employed has it’s upsides. I only had a couple of hours work today, so i loaded the bike into the van and went for a ride. Only an hour and a bit, but I managed to clear 2 climbs on my ss I’d been working towards for the last few rides, and helped a Belgian couple with directions. (Not at the same time).

Feeling really good afterwards, riding is definitely good for the soul.

Not self-employed but I do love a cheeky hour blast after work to de-stress.

20C, blue sky, after work ride looking distinctly possible, though the commie train drivers are doing their best to spoil that plan

Same here, self employed, planned my day to finish early and get a ride in as the weather is great right now.

I was hoping to ride again today, ambitiously hoping to ride outside on each on the “tropical” days this week, but felt quite knackered after the slow ~2 hour pootle yesterday to make it out before the afternoon rush hour began ( I really don’t like the first/last ~2 miles closest to home during busy traffic periods).

… Hoping to pop out shortly, might even hold off dinner until I get back, as I’ve had intentions of post-dinner rides recently scuppered by feeling so bloated and lethargic after eating!

Even getting out for ~30mins without the commuter traffic will be lovely in this weather and I can try and do a bit more tomorrow.

Back from a 2 year injury recently. Had an afternoon in the sun riding above Ramsbottom yesterday. Glorious.
