    Dear STW hive-mind.

I’m looking for a decent cheap steel commuter as a donor for a project. Are their any massive bargains around at the minute that I should consider.

I’m tryingto make a complete front-loading cargobike for the lowest cost.

I am looking for a steel-bike so that I can cut the front end off the frame, re-weld it as a omnium/bilenky style cargobike and use all of the original parts.

It needs to be new, not second hand; as I’d like to make a batch of 5 or 6 identical ones for friends if the first one works out.

Is there anything better than this?

In an ideal world the donor would have:
    Cassette hubs
Forged brake arms (not stamped steel or plastic dross)
    Full metal brake-levers
    Aheadset
    135mm spaced wheels
    Mudguards

    Thanks in advance.
