OK, tarty thread time… Just removing my old Formula One FRs and fitting a set of proper Ones, and the old ones have nice red screw-in centres in the calipers, while the new ones have tawdry gold. So it’d be quite nice to swap that (the calipers are a different colour so can’t just swap the bodies). Just wondered if anyone knows what’s involved?

In our case, you phone the importers to order a bore-cap tool to service a caliper, and get told they don’t sell them, and the brake has to be returned to them for servicing.

Heh. Perhaps I won’t then  Cheers! I could make up a bore cap tool reasonably easily but not really worth the hassle for a bit of tartiness.

Could you make one with that Sugru stuff by using the calliper as a mould and pressing it in?

Not sure it’d be strong enough… I’d just cut a suitable socket into pegs I reckon
