I’m 14 1/2 stone (probably more like 15 with camera, bladder etc) kitted up, setting the shock at 25% sag i seem to be bottom out the travel quite a lot.

Has any of the heavier riders changed the spring rate, and what size spacer did you use?

The shock is a RP23 BV.

I’m 14st and was surprised to find out that I weighed over 15st with light summer riding gear and a half full bladder (the one in the camelback that is :roll:).

I’ve been through the same process with my Five & RP23 BV after getting sick of blowing through the travel too easily.
Start with the medium spacer and see how you like that.

Eventually, I thought “sod it” and got a CCDB instead but now I’m stuck in the faffing cycle trying to get that “just right”.
