    …and the password on the blackberry hasnt been changed !

    someone please explain that ?

    changed password on my hotmail account(on laptop) and mail is still being delivered to blackberry and that has old password on that ?

    have taken battery out of phone and restarted the phone sent a test email and still comes through to the blackberry with the old password !

    Does it use OAuth or something similar? Ie, you grant access to the application rather than give it your password. </guess>

    Your mail server is pushing the email on to your blackberry, your blackberry doesn’t connect to the mail server so the password doesn’t matter (at least thats what i think is happening)
