    Ok, got chainsuck for the first time on my HT with the chain wrapping around the 2×9 granny ring on steep inclines. The drivetrain was not feeling that great even on the road when cleaned. I’m off to BPW with not much time to do anything about it. I’m also stopping at CwmCarn. The chain itself isn’t really near 0.75% worn.

    My question is, will the existing chain and cassette work with new 22/32 chainrings which I have to hand? Or is it best to stick my slightly worn 30T N/W ring on the front with the existing chain and cassette and enjoy the walk up that first incline up CwnCarn? 🙂
