Can I replace a Sram cassette with a Shimano cassette (will it fit the freehub?)

and……………………..why are Sram parts so expensive??
I can virtually buy a Deore or LX rear mech for the price of 2 bloody Sram jockey wheels. WTF?? 👿

Surely that's only any use if you want the closer ratios of a road cassette…

SRAM X.7 jockey wheels appear to be about £10… yes X.0 ones are expensive, and XX ones are hilariously so, but have you looked at XTR, they're not exactly cheap!

    Yes ,Shimano cassettes are great.
Best £ for lb go for SLX ones at around £30.
Likely to be a good 100g or so lighter than the OE ones supplied on most bikes.
