    I’m sure it’s a daft question, but do I just measure the width of the thru axle to check it’s width?

    So long since I bought them and not got around to my bike build i’ve forgotten what I bought!

    Yep, just measure the diameter of the axle.

    check the diameter of the axel its either 15mm or 20mm

    a tape measure will do, the difference is quite large. measure the hole in the fork or the axle
