Hi all – managed to re-install my rear gear cable through the internal routing (I’ve not got a great deal of experience with new-fangled stuff like this) and wondering if this is correct? The gear cable heads down the underside of the downtube to a little plastic guide then appears to run along the underside of the BB shell without any protection for the frame there and thus into the internal routing chamber. See pics, all of which taken with bike upside down and looking towards the back of the bike. Wondering if there should be a bigger guide there or something…?? Looks like it’s going to wear a groove there if left like this.  Anyone able to shed any light? For reference it’s a 2019 disc SuperSix (https://www.7hundred.co.uk/bikes/complete-bikes/2019-cannondale-supersix-evo-carbon-disc-ultegra-matt-anthracite__45441) and I’ve only had it a few months having bought it secondhand but in excellent condition. It’s been my winter bike, hence the crud, so pls excuse that. TIA for any help.

I think from memory you’re missing a plastic cable guide, similar to the one you have for the other cable. Cannondale have all the exploded diagrams and drawings on the interwebs, find the owners manual and it’s in there

Although when I look on the diagram, it looks like there’s only the one guide detailed, which I seem to have in place…

Ah, scratch that, the cable should not be going in through that hole, sheesh. This “Service Bulletin” I found suggests I’ve been a muppet. Great…
