    just been out riding and broken one of my spokes, is it possible to make the wheel run true again without going to the effort of replacing it?

    get new spoke from bike shop, replace broken one, true as normal.

    if you can true a wheel you can replace a spoke, easy.

    you may need to take of the disc or cassette to replace
    Basically get a spoke of the correct length, remove old one and put new one in IN THE SAME WAY AND PATTERN and tighten/true.

    it is really easy to do.
