Apparently these are very tasty.

Ziggy

Ziggy. Nearly 12 months old. Ziggy was a bit naughty a few weeks back and this morning his bitch had 3 puppies. There were 4 but sadly after nearly 24 hours in labour the first didn’t come out and she had to have the other three out by c-section.

He’s ace though. Always so excited when I’m home from work. Pic was taken after a haircut and don’t he look pleased with himself?

It’s been an exciting day!

Same. She’s not a fan of the fireworks that some urchins keeps setting off from the woods near our house. So day naps are maximised.

Roxie had her first professional groom. Definitely smells better 🙂 Appears to be still damp and a bit traumatised. She’s got a few months to get over it.

Not content with sleeping on the sofa Kiwi has stolen the cats snuggle bed and taken it onto the sofa. Cat hates her even more now! Labrador sad he does not fit in it.

Apparently we take too long to serve Her Highness her tea after the 5pm walk.

Who knew that Dalmatians were lap dogs! (Extra large lap recommended).

Mrs_fiat is at home with the hounds while I’m away on business. So Jake’s taken the hump. “When’s dad back? Why am I attached to this string? Why can’t you throw this stick? I’m bored. Do you want me to be bored? I’ve things to do, places to sniff, squirrels to chase, deer to be scared of in the forest at night and you’ve got me here attached to this string!”

Not quite enough snow for Roxie to really experience it properly. I’m hoping we get a dump so she can disappear completely in a snow bank 🙂 They do like it tho, both here and Lola very frisky this morning!

Her ladyship chivvying me up for the summit treats this morning – no snow in this corner of Scotland, just a stunning, frosty morning.

She’s now crashed out on the sofa with a tummy full of chicken.

Cass was unimpressed with her walk this morning so she stayed at home while we went out sledging with Jake and the kids.

It was past Oscar’s bedtime in the pub so he made himself comfortable.

@mikkel – they look exactly the same. I bet there’s a lot of “wasn’t me, definitely the other dog’ going on 🙂

As a dog owner, an important – oft forgotten – activity is to ensure you’ve measured your sofas before getting a new dog.

As you can see, we’ve failed to calibrate our sofa/dog coefficient correctly 🙂

Lola is defo giving off heavy ‘get off my butt’ vibes to the pup there 🙂

Took them out this morning just into the fields by our house as too windy to risk the woods. Absolutely filthy weather, sideways rain, still cold, just miserable. Both dogs decided that today would be an “my ears are for decoration and looking cute’ day and ran around getting muddy for blooming ages before the “call of the big gravy bone” became too much.

40 mins outside, 20 mins drying the silly buggers off. I love our dogs but sometimes…..

After eight weeks of waiting, he’s arrived!

He’s an amazing character and has transformed our lives in only the couple of days he’s lived here.
