I appreciate it’s very hard to advise without seeing the job, but can anyone advise me as to how much the following should very roughly cost:

13×8 concrete shed base, 6 metre long single sleeper retaining wall/step, small area of gravel – 2m square with membrane, aproximately 30sq m of turfing. Old turf will have to come up, and there isn’t any real levelling involved for the new lawn.

I know, I know, I should do it myself, but I don’t have the time or the inclination.

I’ve been quoted over £3k to do this for four days work, which seems excessive to me?? But obviously I’m no expert.

Also is that 4 man days or 8 man days ( 4 days for 2 people)

He says it’s 4 days work and includes materials, I think he works with one other bloke.

4 days and 2 guys and materials to do that – 3k sounds ballpark tbh

Get a couple more quotes and see what they come back with
