Anyone here able to recommend any campsites which have fishing either on site or nearby? Not bothered whether its sra or coarse, and the ability to have a campfire would be a massive bonus. Cheers!

Wyreside fisheries near Garstang, Lancashire. Can’t recall about fires but good fishing and camping on site as well as a pub.

Holme Valley in Brockholes, West Yorkshire has a fishing pond with various coarse fish and a small stretch of stream with trout.

We stayed here a few years ago:

Was great (save for we picked a week of real Welsh rain).
Fishing in the next field. Also had a cafe at the fishing which we used even though we don’t fish.

Great part of the world for a holiday, beaches, mountains, bike trails, the lot.
    Keep meaning to go back.

Near Market Harborough. Definitely allow campfires as we had one on Boxing Day night there.

Also Maythorne, Notts (vans only) has fishing lakes right next to it
