Having sold my increasingly decrepit VW Transporter i’m In the market for a decent camping trailer, in order to lug our gear around.

    Would like it to have:

    – hard, lockable top
    – not too tiny
    – decent sized wheels, as the tow hitch is quite high.

So far the Anssems GT750 HT has caught my eye, as they have a reputation for durability.

    What would you rate?

Not got one but always liked the look of these.

Crikey! They’re lush. But no, sadly, pockets aren’t that deep.

Have done a bit more research and have pretty much decided on getting one of the Anssem trailers, as they have integrated bars in the top panel to attach Thule bike racks on top of the trailer.

I bought one of these 2nd hand off gumtree

    http://lynton.mybigcommerce.com/loadtrekker-se/

I paid 500quid, spent about 120 and a weekend on it.

    New wheels and tyres
New lights and electrics. All worked fine when I got the trailer. I just wanted to tart it up a bit.

Love it. Sits behind my Passat estate no bother.

Perfect compromise as the mrs said no to a t6.

I can’t see any prices on that Freedom Trailers website. Does anyone have any clues?

Pure curiosity since I don’t have a ‘one life live it’ Defender to hitch it to.

If I bought one of those i’d need a ‘one wife, livid’ sticker.
