My brother is over from Asia latter in the summer and keen on meeting somewhere south of Scotland, north of Lancaster where we can camp with our kids (4, aged between 1 and 15) for a long weekend. And use it as a base for a couple of day’s gravel riding. Anyone got any top tips? Thanks in advance.

With kids I’d probably head for the old hall campsite at coniston or low Wray. Both give you plenty to go at on the bikes and waterside locations.
