Anyone aware of this? Given the product could well be in use amongst us ?

Of course, typically no word in the UK – but then again even tumbledryers and fridges that set on fire and cause major fatal fires are not high enough the regulatory list to force those manufacturers to actually sort their sh1t out.

I saw this earlier and as my children use these bottles for school was a bit concerned.

The detail is on Camelbak’s UK website here – https://www.camelbak.co.uk/recall-notice-i225

It’s lids with 3 specific date codes.

I thought the same about the publicity – there is a tiny link to product recall on the bottom of their home page. A note to at least cycling press perhaps would be good.

Caught my daughter just in time when she ripped one of these off my wife’s bottle as she came in from a cycle..

More careful with then around her now ….even more so now we know it’s a thing. Look at getting replacements sooner than later

Just had an e-mail from Amazon about this, my bottle’s date code is fine, thought I’d bump the thread for anyone who missed this?
