If you had to buy a new shimano freehub to fit on an Xt FH-M756 6-bolt rear, from the tinterweb, could you do it?
If so, what would the link be?

I know this probably the most boring question, but I’m really hoping someone will know…?

    Thanks.

P.s. Also thanks to those that diagnosed te problem as being the freehub last week.

I’ve had to replace a 9 speed freehub in the past, and was shocked how expensive they were.
The cheapest solution I found was to find a Shimano rear hub on offer somewhere (at that time it was a Deore one for £7 at On-One) and then take the freehub off that and use it.

    @ ampthill:
    It’s definitely a positive phrase!

    @ the rest:
I’m completely amazed, grateful and humbled by the amount of bike brain inside STW!
