Just pulled a thorn out of my WTB Byways (on the pub bike), and hiss….

New tyres, freshly installed with Cafe Latex, and all the sealant poured out of the hole, every drop. Pulled out another thorn, added about 40ml of Stan’s, pumped up, sealed instantly.

That’s Cafe Latex off the list, then.

    🤔

Have used it extensively in the past and it was always OK… That it, it done its job. Maybe I never had a hole big enough.

Currently using something or other. It was the only think the shop in Finale had. It’s what they use in the shop and so far so good. Forgot the name.

I’ve found it’s ok for small thorns and does seem to last a good few months, it isn’t much good at anything bigger than a pin hole.

These were small thorns, was amazed to see so much sealant come out of such a small puncture.

Tyre still solid today with the Stan’s
