    Not bad for a cam of that size though.

    Hah sorry I was too slow editing and too quick to write the original post 🙂

    I want one of these cams for the Mrs – she doesn’t pixel peep in the slightest, but does carry it around in her handbag and really wants better low light performance than her current cam.

    Yeah, I wasn’t serious. ISO 12800 and 100% crop will always show noise. A full size image would have done a better job making the point. The new image looks good though.

    I picked up a 1″ bridge camera recently (mostly for video). It’s astounding what modern sensors will do. Even a 1″ sensor will rival (or beat in some aspects) an APSC sensor from a few years ago.

    Looks like NR is on in that second pic, review doesn’t say.

    OM-D EM-1 is my next cam. In about 10 years’ time probably!

    Nothing wrong with NR, sharpening, distortion correction etc etc. Software is much lighter than glass.
